Thinking about Valentine’s?

Thinking about Valentine’s?

Valentines is just around the corner and if you haven’t thought of anything to do, I’ve got you covered!

Whether you are single or in a relationship, I have listed a range of ideas that hopefully at least one will help you! Don’t forget, Valentines is a day for people you love, your partner, mum, dad, friends, other relatives. It’s a day to make someone feel special and loved.

Plan a day with them.

Planning a day can cost anything from hardly anything at all to splashing out, depending on what you want to do.

You could plan to go to the city book a fancy restaurant, go to the theatre and book a hotel to stay the night.

Or

For the cheaper version you could still go on an adventure to the city (London for example), have a look around the free museums like science museum and natural history museum, they are so beautiful and still free! Maybe also instead of getting the tube, go for a romantic walk around from place to place. You can also make a packed lunch to cut costs even further, and it’s thoughtful!

You don’t even have to go out of your little village, you could find cute little things to do there, have a walk around the park, go for a pub lunch or even plan something after that like go paint some pottery together or book out and afternoon of archery. There are plenty of things that can be done if you have a browse around.

I have listed a few of “out of the normal” things you could do:

Hot air balloon ride

Indoor skydiving

Cooking class

Comedy night

Camping in a field with a campfire and marshmallows and a snuggly warm blanket wrapped around you both.

Give hand made gifts

Pinterest is my absolute favourite place to look at for ideas such as this. There was one I saw that was really thoughtful and cheap, 52 reasons why I love you. This is where you buy a pack of playing cards and write on each one of why you love them. There are plenty of ideas. You can also make them a handmade card.

If you’re not the creative type or some have time you can always make personal gifts online such as boomf, moonpig or not on the high street.com

Make an evening at home

Marks and Spencer do amazing deals around Valentine’s Day where you can get a starter, main, side, dessert, wine (or non alcoholic alternative) and a box of chocolates all for £20!
You could set up the table, pick a movie to watch with a cuddly blanket, make the house all pretty.

Anything you do whether it is big or small I am sure the person who you are doing it for will love it.
