From the leaves turning to cosy evenings, Autumn is without a doubt my favourite season. So right now I’m in my element, looking forward to things to come so if you’re like me and Autumn is also your favourite season then I just wanted to remind you of how cosy and snuggly Autumn can be and what to prepare.
Get those decorations out!
I love decorating my house in autumn, I have a very basic colour pallet when it comes to my house but I made it that way so when it comes into season I can give it that pop of colour I want, Like burnt oranges and dull yellows for autumn!
I love going to Homesense because they are always stocked up on amazing decorations and more for such good prices! You can even buy baking tins that are shaped into things like pumpkins, turkeys (for the Americans), leaves, ghosts and lots more to make your autumn cakes superb!
Throws! You can never have too many throws, tartan ones, woolly ones, fluffy ones, fleecy ones, they are all amazing! Imagine yourself sitting on your sofa with a cosy throw over your with some plumped up comfy cushions drinking hot chocolate out of your favourite mug watch your favourite program! Sounds good right?!
Candles, you can’t forget about all of those delicious smelling candles! Toasted Marshmallow, Pumpkin Spice, Autumn leaves, frosty Morning!
Here comes the Autumn make up, I love autumn make up! You can go a little crazier on the Autumn and darker colours! Not to mention going wild with your make up for Halloween! There are so many different looks you can go for just using make up it’s amazing! This one i did last year for fright night at the zoo.
You can start getting your purples and browns and any other colour nail varnish that you think will look awesome in the coming months!
If you are a big autumn fan i bet your wardrobe is fully of snugly jumpers and woolly knits. Mine is! And I still want more! I also love my wardrobes to be full of creams and browns and reds. I just think those colours look amazing this time of year!
Scarves are also a must! I find a scarf just boosts your outfit, even though its only a bit of fabric around your neck it elevates class and comfy into your outfit.
Boots! Stuff the sliders and dolly shoes, the season is all about those boots! Whether thats ankle boots right up to the thigh high boots, they are all going to make your outfit pop! No matter what your style, you can go for the sheek look with some tie at the front boots, classy look to go with those leather or suede heeled boots, or if you like jeans with some cute little ankle boots.
Start planning your Autumn days out whether it it’s just going for a walk in the park or planning a Halloween party. I have listed below some thing you can do in the Autumn months if you get stuck.
Corn or sunflower Mazes ( normally towards the end of summer)
Walk in a national park
Make a pile of leaves and jump in them!
Go Autumn Decor shopping
Trick or Treating
Halloween party (go or plan)
Vegetable farmers market where they weigh the veg.
Cosies inside your home
Or as I said earlier, sitting all snuggled up with your favourite program with hot chocolate in your favourite mug is heaven!
